Wu-Style Taijiquan

Keep in Shape

Don't change what you're doing now.

Just start practicing every day. The changes will come, not because you force them on yourself, but because they simply come subconsciously.

Wu Style is a fairly "active" style. Most beginners find it tiring, so you need to be, or get into, reasonable physical shape to get the most out of it.

It is not for people who just want to "float around."

One of the characterstics of Wu Style Taijiquan is that the body leans forward in a lot of the postures. This takes a bit of work to sustain without discomfort through a full set of exercise. That's why the beginners course is structured as it is.
